What happens when you call
Tell us where you are, the year, make and model of the vehicle, and whether anyone or anything is locked inside. If a child or pet is locked in a hot or cold vehicle, call 911 first.
Proving the vehicle is yours
Expect to be asked for a photo ID and something that ties you to the vehicle, like the registration or insurance card. It protects you as much as anyone.
Lost the key, not just locked it in?
