Rekey vs. replace

Rekeying changes the pins inside the lock cylinder so a new key works and the old keys don't. When the locks are in good shape, it's usually less expensive than new hardware, and several locks can often be keyed alike so one key opens every door.

Master rekeying

For businesses, rentals and properties with several doors, we can rekey locks to a master key system: individual keys open only certain doors, and a master key opens them all. Call to talk through your doors and access levels. See commercial locksmith.
